At New_ Public, I stood up our Public Spaces Incubator and led our Local Lab. I now lead strategic initiatives as we design and build with public media and real communities.
My design practice is rooted in my training as an urban planner, and emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and community-centered design. Some of my work is confidential, but you can review case studies of my favorite projects on the Portfolio page.
I also write around the web about prototyping experiences, service design for public policy, data in policy decision-making, municipal broadband, and technology procurement, among other things.
